Itinerary

Day 1Siem Reap Arrival

Welcome to Siem Reap, the provincial capital and gateway to the ancient Angkor temples. Recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Angkor Archaeological Park encompasses dozens of temple ruins including Bayon, Banteay Srei and the legendary Angkor Wat. Upon arrival, Cambodia Travel guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to one of the top luxurious hotels in town to check in.
You are free at leisure to recover from jetlag.

In late afternoon, transfer to Cambodia Circus Centre to enjoy Phare Circus Show. More than just a show, Phare performers use theater, music, dance and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories; historical, folk and modern. The young circus artists will astonish you with their energy, emotion, enthusiasm and talent.

Day 2Siem Reap - Full Day Angkor Temples

Wake up early to be transferred for picking up the most beautiful, haunting and spiritual moment to visit magnificent Angkor Wat at dawn. This special activity is designed also to help you see “the Temple reflex on the water” when it’s much cooler and less crowded. Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was constructed by Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys and ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.
Later you will return the hotel for your proper breakfast or you could also order breakfast box from your hotel and serve en route and avoid the crowd when they go back to hotel for breakfast.
Our journey continues with visiting South Gate of Angkor Thom, with its majestic doors and artifacts, see the enigmatic faces of Bayon Temple that’s known as the heart of Angkor Thom. Later, visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and Takeo “Jewel of Crystal”, which is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century.
Leaving Angkor Thom by the North Gate, you travel to Preah Khan (Sacred Sword), one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII. You should not miss Ta Prohm Temple, which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty with its giant trees that have grown there for centuries. You may have your lunch at local restaurant near Srah Srong on your own account but we suggest the reservation in advance.

Day 3Siem Reap - Cooking Class - Bantaey Srei - Fly to Danang

Discover the secrets of authentic Khmer cuisine in a half-day cooking class but first begin with a walk to local food market where you will learn about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients before returning to the classroom for a hands-on culinary experience.
After dining on your creations, we drive to Banteay Srei, regarded as the women’s citadel and home to Angkor’s finest stone carvings. Banteay Srei temple is located about 37km north of Siem Reap and is the most remote of the temples in the Angkor World Heritage Site. It was designed by Yajnavaraha, a court official of King Rajendravarman [944-968AD] and the principal Brahmanist instructor of King Jayavarman V. 
Later of the day, driving to Siem Reap airport for your flight to Danang – the rising coastal city of Vietnam. On arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up and take you to your beach-front resort. Check-in and enjoy your time at leisure.

Day 4Danang - Hoian - Walking Tour & Sunset Boat Trip

Enjoy breakfast at your resort and free time for beach relaxation.
In the afternoon, our guide will meet you again and take you to Hoian ancient town. From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk still produced in the region. Today, Hoian is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes. Immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. Take a short walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge.
Then, transfer out of the town for your unique sunset experience like a local fisherman. The special part of the day for a local Hoi An fisherman is in the late afternoon, setting out into the Cua Dai Sea with expectations of a bountiful catch. The passing parade of the local fishing fleet setting out to sea and the magic of the sun slowly sinking in the western sky. Our tour also provides you with the opportunity to experience paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Back on-board, you can enjoy the setting of the sun and the day’s end with refreshments including cold beer and soft drinks together with a Complimentary Vietnamese Snack.
Leave Hoian and return to your resort in Danang for overnight stay.

Day 5Danang Beach Relaxation

Take a break from sightseeing excursions, today you are free at leisure for beach relaxation and recharge your “battery” for the second leg of the journey.
Enjoy the crystal clear water of the East Sea or splash into the water of resort’s pool or your private pool at villa. 
You can also choose to add optional tours at surcharge with us to visit Danang highlights such as Mable Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula, or Cham Museum, etc. Kindly contact our travel consultant to check the availability and surcharge for these excursions.

Day 6Danang - Drive to Hue - City Tour

After breakfast at resort, depart Danang for the scenic mountainous drive to Hue. Stop at the dramatic Hai Van Pass, the high dividing line between the climate zones of North and South Vietnam, to admire the spectacular views and at the fishing village of Lang Co for a drink.
Arrive in Hue in the afternoon and start your sightseeing tour to visit Khai Dinh Tomb (a replica of the king’s palace built for the next reincarnation of the king) and Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue your drive to your beautiful resort right in city center. If time permits, you can also explore the bustling Dong Ba Market.

Day 7Hue - Fly to Hanoi

Enjoy a peaceful and lazy morning at your hotel. Then, transfer to Phu Bai airport of Hue for your short flight to Hanoi – Vietnam’s bustling colonial capital. Your driver and guide will meet you outside the baggage claim of Noi Bai Airport and take you to your hotel in the city center. Check in at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, an award-winning French colonial-style located in the heart of Hanoi.
In the afternoon, take a walk around the center, visiting some of Hanoi’s main attractions: the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening savor a welcome dinner of authentic Vietnamese food at one of Hanoi’s finest restaurants.

Day 8 Hanoi City Tour

Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Presidential Palace; walking around the surrounding areas full of colonial houses and mansions, followed by the iconic Flag Tower. Continue to the visit Temple of Literature – the very first university of the country; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the Hoa Lo Prison and the Ethnology Museum). Then have one hour hop on cyclo to go around the Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese Art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.

Day 9Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Bich Dong - Hoa Lu

Have breakfast at hotel’s restaurant, then check out and drive to Ninh Binh with ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which is situated 100 km south of Hanoi and was the capital of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between 968 and 1009 AD. Some of the sanctuaries and tombs have survived the years and can still be seen today. Start cycling on countryside roads onto Hoa Lu and the ancient 10th century citadel. Apart from the historical interest, the area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Halong Bay. Continue your ride through the limestone peaks to Tam Coc, passing rice paddies and rural villages. In Tam Coc lunch is served at a local restaurant with local specialties. The tour includes being rowed along the Ngo Dong River, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks. You conclude the excursion day with a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda.
Afterwards, check-in at a charming resort in Ninh Binh for your nigh stay.

Day 10Ninh Binh - Lan Ha Bay - Overnight on Cruise

After breakfast at hotel, your guide and driver will take you on pleasant drive passing the countryside of the Red River Delta to Lan Ha Bay. Spend 24 hours on the luxurious cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay. We have lunch before continuing our journey via the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island – Thoi Quyt area – Coc Ngoi islet – through Cua Van to Ba Trai Dao area. You may prefer to try your hand at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area.
Return to the cruise and join the cooking class – followed by a delightful dinner.
Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant.
Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

Day 12Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi - Departure

Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Sang Toi cave is situated.
Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Gia Luan pier. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you to Noi Bai Airport of Hanoi to catch your departure flight home.
